ADMINISTRATIVE

CE-Bar VFD apparatus and administrative offices are currently housed at 353 S Commons Ford Rd in the Austin Lake Estates community of Lake Hills off of Cuernavaca Drive.  The department conducts three in-house fire-training meetings per month with the first scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.  New volunteers are encouraged to begin their interaction with the department by attending the Wednesday night fire-training meeting.  EMS training is conducted on the second Thursday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m.  In addition to in-house training, opportunities are available through the Travis County Firefighter’s Association, the Texas Engineering Extension Service,  the Texas Forest Service and several fire training facilities in the area

TCESD #10 contract with CE-Bar Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. which is governed by a board of directors.  The CE-Bar VFD Board of Directors meeting is regularly scheduled for 7:00pm on the Tuesday preceding the third Wednesday of each month.  Oversight of CE-Bar VFD administration, including allotment of property tax funds for operations, is administered by the TCESD #10 Board of Commissioners.  Regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month. Both meetings generally occur at the fire station and are open to the public.
